CEREC®
Dr. Johnson is your local CEREC® dentist for single-visit tooth restorations.
The CEREC® Process
First, Dr. Johnson will discuss each detail of CEREC® process during an initial consultation. Once the procedure has begins, Dr. Johnson will take a specialized photo of the tooth in need of restoration. The photo is taken with a specialized camera, which sends the photo into the CEREC® computer. Here, the computer uses the photo as a "map" for your new crown. Once the digital rendering is complete, CEREC® will mill the new crown from a piece of ceramic, using a diamond bur and disk-work. Less than an hour later, your new crown will be completely finished and ready for placement! Dr. Johnson will use a special adhesive to bond the ceramic crown to your tooth.

We know how it is, between work, family time, and extracurricular activities, where does one find the time for multiple trips to the dentist for the some procedure? That's where CEREC comes in! The standard procedure for a crown used to involve taking an uncomfortable mold of your mouth and having to wait a week or two while an off-site dental lab creates your new crown. After your initial consultation, with CEREC Dr. Johnson can measure, mill, and place your new dental crown all in the same visit! Hows that for convenience? Call us today for a consultation!
